We stayed up until 0130hrs our time to watch the end to the American election and we have no regrets, other than being exhausted and disliking Wolf Blitzer. Senator McCain gave a classy speech while admitting defeat and he did it early, cutting off any arguments for recounts etc that marred the previous election. President elect Obama, gave a great speech and used his mantra of "yes we can" in a way that a lot of preachers say "amen", good on him and hopefully good for the U.S.A. Our countries are too entwined to ignore what goes on down there. Congrats to both men for a classy end to a sometimes bitter race.
